The Democratic presidential campaign of Sen. Bernie Sanders said Wednesday the Vermont senator will spend the next several weeks assessing the future of his campaign after a string of losses to former Vice President Joe Biden. Sen. Sanders is going to be having conversations with supporters to assess his campaign,” Sanders campaign manager Faiz Shakir said in a statement Wednesday morning. Once there, they’ll begin holding conversations with supporters to get input and assess the path forward for our campaign. It’s just a matter of how he transitions the campaign into his future work leading the movement. Ehrenberg, who parted ways with the Sanders campaign last year, emphasized that "I think for Bernie, the presidential campaign has always been part of a larger movement and the ideals and the goals that the movement set for itself."
