more-inThe Bellandur police have registered an FIR against officials of the Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (Bescom) and the owner of a private apartment for allegedly supplying high voltage power to a building, causing a fire mishap in Kapila apartment complex in Kasavanahalli on Thursday. While work was under way, the power line of Kapila apartment was damaged. Bescom officials, who arrived at the spot, provided a temporary connection to Kapila apartment for a few hours. Later, while giving a permanent connection, they supplied high voltage power, residents alleged. The police have summoned the staff of the adjacent building and the Bescom officials concerned for questioning.
