President of the association inaugurated the two-day conference by hoisting the national flag, releasing banners, festoons and flying pigeons in front of the History Department at 9.30 am. Later, the opening ceremony of the two-day conference was held at the Kazi Nazrul Islam Auditorium at 10.00 am.
