Bigotry in the Bay: Anti-H1B posters grace Silicon Valley's train network as anti-immigration group says 'America First'

“Your companies think you are expensive, undeserving & expendable,” say the ads, paid for by Progressives for Immigration Reform, while speaking for US Tech Workers. “Congress, fix H-1B law so companies must seek & hire U.S. workers!” the message on the poster reads. In a statement, BART told Mercury News that the group purchased over 250 panel ads and 100 smaller in-train ads. “BART is a safe and welcoming system for all people.”The group that calls itself US Tech Workers in its website is critical of the Donald Trump-led administration’s immigration policy. We believe for this generation entering the workforce, and for future generations to prosper, U.S. tech companies must seek and hire U.S. tech workers first," the homepage reads.
