Emergency services were on Weston Bank - near Weston Hall - on the outskirts of Stafford following reports of a smash. Today the force has made an appeal for witnesses after confirming the biker remains in the Royal Stoke University Hospital with 'serious injuries'. ‌A spokeswoman for Staffordshire Police said: "Officers attended along with colleagues from Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service, West Midlands Ambulance Service, and the Midlands Air Ambulance. The motorcyclist, a man, was taken to hospital by land ambulance with serious injuries.
