KUWAIT CITY, May 27: After a hiatus of several years due to various circumstances, the recruitment of Ethiopian domestic workers to Kuwait is on the verge of resuming. Jibril stated, “Following the signing of this memorandum, which covers all aspects of recruitment, the Ethiopian side is ready to send domestic workers to Kuwait. The memorandum was signed by Ambassador Al-Otaibi on behalf of Kuwait, and by the Ethiopian Minister of Labor and Skills, Muferhat Kamel. He emphasized the importance of educating Ethiopian workers about Kuwaiti laws, legislation, and the customs and traditions of Kuwaiti households. Minister Muferhat Kamel also stressed the Ethiopian government’s commitment to properly train and educate workers wishing to work in Kuwait, ensuring their quality and skills meet the required standards.
