KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Friday expressed severe anger over the controversial speech of party’s lawmaker Suhail Anwar Siyal in Sindh Assembly session. Sindh home minister Siyal, while criticising opposition party Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P), went on to criticise the whole Urdu-speaking community residing in Sindh. The PPP lawmaker’s speech was widely condemned by MQM-P leader Faisal Sabzwari saying that PPP leader’s speech just showed how ignorant he was of ground realities and financial affairs of the province. “The basic elements of his (Siyal) speech were ignorance, discrimination and hate and just shows how ignorant he is of history,” said Sabzwari. Suhail Siyal should learn some history to know the sacrifices of people of Muslim-minority provinces of the subcontinent in the creation of Pakistan,” Raza Haroon had said.
