As of September 30, Steyer had pumped $47.6 million into his own campaign and raised another $2 million from outsiders. According to ad-tracking firm Advertising Analytics, Steyer’s campaign has spent $145 million on TV, radio and digital advertising since he launched his campaign in July. On a national level, the numbers are even worse, with Steyer polling at just 1.9%. Steyer spent a large chunk of Trump’s presidency leading the “Need To Impeach” movement.
