Photo: Biman Bangladesh AirlinesDHAKA, Dec 21, 2025 (BSS) - Biman Bangladesh Airlines today expanded the use of body-worn cameras in baggage handling at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport to enhance transparency, protect passengers’ property and ensure accountability across all incoming international flights. To address these concerns, Biman Bangladesh Airlines has begun monitoring the loading and unloading of baggage for every arriving international flight at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport through body-worn cameras. The formal inauguration of the expanded service was held on Sunday under the leadership of Badrul Hasan Liton, Director (Customer Service) and Joint Secretary of Biman. Speaking on the occasion, the director said that the initiative would ensure transparency and accountability at every stage of baggage handling, boost passenger confidence and further enhance staff professionalism. Biman Bangladesh Airlines said it would continue to use digital technology to raise passenger service and security standards to new heights in the future.
