Piles of leaves were stuffed into the bags and left on the public path and grass at Craigton cemetery over the weekend. Images shared with the Glasgow Times show dozens of bags strewn across the path, and some of the bags appeared to have been burst open. The shocking sight was discovered on Saturday by a resident and others have since taken to social media to voice their disgust. Another wrote: "Bad enough dumping it, but doing it in a cemetery just beggars belief." The incident was reported to Glasgow City Council's cleansing department, and the waste is since understood to have been removed from the cemetery.
