ToplineA bipartisan group of 22 senators backing a $953 billion infrastructure deal with the White House appears to be intact despite some Republicans in the group launching broadsides against a $3.5 trillion reconciliation bill Democrats seek to pass alongside infrastructure. Rob Portman (R-OH), Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-LA), Sen. Jon Tester (D-MT), Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME), Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ), Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV), and Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA). Biden indicated that a framework for an infrastructure bill is in place following the meeting.
