SMS Seri Puteri, Kuala Lumpur was part of the Global Citizenship Education (GCED) pilot programme which ran throughout the 2019 school year until February last year. The students and teachers were given a pre- and post-programme assessment to gauge the effectiveness of the module. They are encouraged to voice out their opinions on global issues and even suggest the possible solutions. It is good exposure for the students to see the current situations in Malaysia and in other countries. GCED also enhances students’ thinking skills.”— Science teacher Nurul Diyana Mohd Nor
