BirminghamLive has retained its lead as the most-read regional title online after topping the monthly chart for the second successive month. The website, which serves as the online channel for daily print title the Birmingham Mail, overtook its Reach plc stablemate the Manchester Evening News in September with 55m page views. In terms of use engagement, Carlisle title newsandstar.co.uk topped the list for the second month running, with visitors spending an average 9.16 minutes on the site. Newsquest sister title eveningnews24.co.uk – the online presence of the Norwich Evening News – was a close second with an average visitor stay of 8.98 minutes.
