Former Starehe MP Margaret Wanjiru has dismissed allegations that she has entered into a political alliance with Water CS Eugine Wamalwa for the Nairobi governor seat. Wanjiru hosted Wamalwa, Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria and her son, Mathare MP Stephen Kariuki at her JIAM church in Nairobi on Sunday. Wanjiru expressed optimism in beating Dagoreti South MP Dennis Waweru to clinch the Jubilee ticket ahead of the 2017 general elections. The MPs, led by Starehe's Maina Kamanda and Nairobi Woman rep Rachel Shebesh, have been rallying Jubilee party supporters in Nairobi behind Waweru.
