In licensing, Marvel and Beyblade were the growth areas, holding the losses to just 6% overall, with Black Panther and the first wave of Avengers: Infinity War toys giving the former a push. As a result, very little Solo product even made it to TRU shelves, while remaining Infinity War and Black Panther products disappeared quickly even before the clearance sales were announced, not to be replenished. Several planned Hasbro Toys R Us exclusives, like an Infinity War exclusive two-pack featuring Paul Bettany's Vision and Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch, went to online retailer Entertainment Earth instead. Hasbro recently announced plans for a movie based on its '80s M.A.S.K. But this strategy could run into the same problem Toys R Us blames for its own closure: Amazon and Walmart treat many toys as loss leaders.
