For showing up in the game in dark-colored uniforms, members of the Perpetual Help Altas were declared ineligible to play their game with the College of St. Benilde Blazers. As a matter of formality, the teams still played the game and the Altas prevailed, 69-65, but the Blazers still would still officially take the win on account of technicality. According to the Mancom’s decision, the Altas team violated rule 4:3.2 of the NCAA basketball rulebook.
