Seattle's Seth Smith hit his first career grand slam, homering for the fourth straight game, as the Mariners beat Baltimore 9-4 to complete the four-game sweep. Toronto's Troy Tulowitzki had three hits, including a three-run homer while catcher Russell Martin homered and drove in five runs for the Blue Jays, who had 18 hits. Over the series, the Mariners had 31 runs and 47 hits, including 23 for extra bases. Philadelphia's Cameron Rupp hit a three-run homer to lift the Phillies to a 7-2 win against Kansas City.
