CLEVELAND—Blue Jays' GM Ross Atkins always promised that the workload of righthander Aaron Sanchez could be managed with a six-man rotation and a little imagination. Sanchez, 24, has already reached a career high in innings pitched, at 156-1/3. The AL All-Star is 12-2, with a 2.99 ERA. He has a home close to the Blue Jays' spring training complex in Dunedin and will be able to be monitored by the club's high-performance staff. Lefthander Aaron Loup was called up from AAA-Buffalo to help the bullpen.
