Greater Noida, Dec 3 (PTI) The body of a 17-year-old girl was found hanging from a ceiling fan in her house in Tigri village with the family alleging that she was killed, police said today. The girl, a class 12 student, was alone in her house at the time of the incident yesterday, they said. The family claimed that three days ago a man had allegedly threatened to kill the girl if she did not marry him, the police said. They held a protest at the Bisrakh police station today and claimed that the man allegedly killed her and hanged her body on the ceiling fan, they said. Further investigations will be as per the evidence found during investigation and post mortem report," Bisrakh police station incharge Ajay Sharma said.
