Gardaí have launched an investigation after the body of a man was found in Cookstown, Dublin 24, on Friday. The man’s body was found at a home in Cookstown after gardaí received reports of an unresponsive male at a residence around 1pm. “An Garda Síochána are investigating all of the circumstances around the discovery of the body of a man in Cookstown, Dublin 24, today, Friday 27th March 2026,” a spokesperson said. “Shortly after 1.10pm, Gardaí and emergency services responded to reports of a man found unresponsive at a residence in Cookstown, Dublin 24. His body has been removed to Dublin City Mortuary, Whitehall,” Gardaí said.
