Bombay Hemp Company (Boheco) Life, the Mumbai-based producer of hemp-derived nutritional, lifestyle and wellness products, has just launched its first offline store in Bengaluru’s Indiranagar. Incorporated in 2013, and co-founded by six young entreprenuers, it is an agro enterprise that aims to make medicinal cannabis and industrial hemp a part of our everyday life. "When we decided to work with medicinal cannabis and industrial hemp, we soon realised that in India, the plant had no formal standardization for cultivation or business. Given that this was a fairly unorganised sector, we had to begin with grass root planning and implementation. This led us to work with FPO’s (Farmer Producer Organiations) in the northern region of India," say the founders on the company's website.
