A boil water advisory has been issued to residents in the town of L'Île-Perrot, west of Montreal. People are being asked to boil their water for a minute before drinking. They are also being asked to reduce water consumption. The advisory was put into effect Saturday. It's not clear why the town has issued the advisory.
