Suppliers have said that they have shortages of up to 70% caused by Brexit and travel disruption. Brexit and travel disruption threatens to ruin some plans for this November 5 with reports of stocks being down by up to 70% which has also pushed prices up. Richard Hogg, of Fireworks Kingdom, told The Guardian: “Importing fireworks has become very difficult and unstable in the wake of Brexit. Shortages caused by travel disruption and a lack of lorry drivers are also causing trouble for supermarket deliveries. People may also end up without Christmas trees due to supply problems caused in part due to a lack of trees being sent from Denmark.
