Boring curriculums contribute to university dropoutsLecturers have said hundreds of students had been either being expelled or left universities because of boring curriculums and a lack of interest. Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry expelled 946 students for being too lazy with their studies. Ho Chi Minh City University of Law issued a list of 320 students who were either expelled, suspended or given warnings. Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities issued warnings and expelled 214 students that couldn't meet the minimum credits or average scores of all subjects. Tran Van Lop, deputy head of Hanoi University of Science and Technology, said most of the expelled students were first or second years.
