Boris Johnson married his fiancée, Carrie Symonds, in a private ceremony on yesterday morning, becoming the first British Prime Minister to marry in office for nearly 200 years. Mr Johnson, 56, and Ms Symonds, 33, married at Westminster Cathedral, in central London, where their son, Wilfred, was baptised last year. Mr Johnson and Ms Symonds have been engaged since late 2019, but Mr Johnson has repeatedly declined to comment on plans to marry. Mr Johnson and Ms Symonds were said to have walked down the aisle to classical music and kissed after reading their vows. Ms Symonds, a former Conservative Party communications chief, was romantically linked to Mr Johnson last year.
