The Prime Minister faces fresh claims of mixed messaging after he put on a show of strength - at the same time as begging overconfident people not to break social distancing rules. Yet it is the same Prime Minister who this week said coastal resorts should "show some guts" and "roll out the welcome mat" to visitors. And Mr Johnson today boasted he is "as fit as a butcher's dog" after recovering from a spell in intensive care with Covid-19. "I'm as fit as a butcher's dog now," said Mr Johnson, who will give a speech on economic recovery on Tuesday. First Minister of Wales Mark Drakeford today hit out at the Prime Minister, warning his message is not "sober" enough.
