The likes of Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Manchester United had all been credited with a strong interest but are now believed to be focussing on alternative targets in the summer transfer window. Reports emanating out of Germany this week indicate that Arsenal are involved in a three-way tussle with Dortmund and AC Milan for Guirassy’s signature, with the prolific Guinea international keen for a fresh challenge. According to Sky Sports’ Florian Plettenberg, Dortmund ‘fear Arsenal the most’ at this stage of the transfer saga but the player himself is yet to make a decision over his future. ‘For many it is clear that he is leaving, for me it is not at all clear.
