Bournemouth fans ridiculed for wearing club-branded coronavirus face masks

Bournemouth fans were widely mocked after wearing protective facemasks in the crowd during the game against Aston Villa amid fears over coronavirus. Two men wearing club ties were spotted wearing face masks, branded with the club's crest, amid growing fears regarding the coronavirus outbreak. Bournemouth officials also told reporters that the two men were wearing the masks as a joke. Several fans attending Manchester United's match with Wolves on Saturday evening were also seen wearing masks at Old Trafford. But with the virus posing almost no danger at all on the south coast, plenty taunted those wearing the masks on social media.
