RCMP have confirmed they continue to investigate possible hate speech charges stemming from Boushie's death, and that some of those files have now reached the desk of Saskatchewan Crown prosecutors. Boushie family lawyer Chris Murphy said it shouldn't take seven months and counting for RCMP and the Crown to determine whether online posts in the Boushie case constitute hate speech.
