Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding an incident where a 10-year-old boy died after jumping from the fourth floor of a residential apartment in South B, Nairobi. A review of security footage at the apartment showed he ran upstairs and jumped off, falling on the ground floor. Elsewhere, detectives are investigating the murder of a traditional dancer in a village in Rangwe, Homa Bay County. His body was found in Olare Trading Centre and rushed to hospital, where he succumbed to the injuries on February 24, 2026. Police said the body had multiple injuries on the face and was moved to the mortuary pending an autopsy.
