Boy, 6, raises $240,000 for animals affected by Australian fires 0 SHARES Share it! Share TweetBy Rizal ObanilLike Greta Thunberg, the 17-year-old environmental activist who has seemingly become the voice rallying the world to act on climate change, a 6-year-old boy is now championing the cause of animals affected by the Australian bushfires. Because of this, the young boy felt that he had to do something to help and came up with an idea to raise money – by making clay koalas. The idea was such a huge success that Colley was able to raise $240,000. Because of this, the family launched a GoFundMe, again with just an initial goal of raising $5,000, which it again surpassing by raking in a whopping $ 240,000 in just a week.
