Ottawa paramedics are reminding parents to have a "properly restrained car seat" after a three-year-old boy was seriously injured in a minivan rollover on Highway 417 Saturday afternoon. The minivan rolled over in the eastbound lanes of Highway 417, between Woodroffe and Maitland avenues, just after 4 p.m., paramedics said. The boy was treated for head and spinal injuries, and taken to hospital in serious but stable condition, paramedics said in a news release. Police are investigating.
