On Sunday, the minimum temperature went up to around 15°C, slightly above normal. It was because the day temperature dropped to 19.2°C, six notches below normal. Both the maximum and minimum temperatures in south Bengal are expected to stay below normal. “In Calcutta, the minimum temperature is expected to drop to around 12°C in a couple of days. On Monday, dense fog is expected in north Bengal and Birbhum, Murshidabad and West Burdwan in south Bengal.
