Breast cancer survivors reflect on life after diagnosis at annual run


Deanna Dawson first beat breast cancer in 1989, three years before the very first Run For The Cure event in Canada. She was healthy for two decades, but then, in December, she was diagnosed with breast cancer once again. They're worn by breast cancer survivors. Thousands attended the annual Run For The Cure event to raise money for breast cancer research outside Kingsway Mall. "'For a lot of people here they want to finish their run and finish breast cancer.
