The bloc's chief negotiator Michel Barnier travelled to London for the latest discussions with British counterpart David Frost. Following the break-up of this week's talks, European Commission spokesman Daniel Farrie said: "The EU is acting constructively and in good faith, as Michel Barnier pointed out earlier this week. "We are working hard to overcome the significant divergences that remain between us.
