After Helen Dove convinced Kimberley Baker to apply for a job at the children's department at Warrington Borough Council, she posed as 15 fake employees to convince her she had been hired. Having gone months without pay, Kimberley eventually went to the council offices only to be told her friend did not work there and neither did she. When Kimberley explained that it was her dream to work in children's services, Dove told her she was an adoption worker at the council. Determined to make her career aspirations a reality, Kimberley took voluntary redundancy and applied for the council job.
