Gbovadeh Gbilia at Liberian school with studentsMONROVIA – The Honourable Gbovadeh Gbilia has been appointed as the Managing Director for Bridge Liberia; one of the partners supporting the Ministry of Education to deliver the Liberian Education Advancement programme (LEAP.) As the Government’s LEAP programme enters its fifth year in Liberia; the new Managing Director for Bridge will focus on supporting the Minister of Education and his Ministry to deliver on the promise of LEAP to Liberia’s youth. Of the 298 public schools in the programme, Bridge Liberia supports 171 of them in counties across the country – serving tens of thousands of students. Commenting on his new appointment, Gbovadeh says: “ LEAP is truly transformational in impact, design, and ambition. The visit provided a real boost for the programme and the education sector in Liberia.
