Smaller vehicles will be rerouted to the nearby Portage Bridge, while truck traffic will use the Macdonald-Cartier bridge farther east. The 118-year-old Alexandra Bridge will see rotating lane closures from June 2019 to June 2020, and again from June 2021 to December 2022.
