Brighton's 'outstanding' goalkeeper agrees new contract until 2023

Brighton and Hove Albion FCBrighton & Hove Albion are delighted to announce that goalkeeper Megan Walsh has signed a new contract until June 2023. The 26-year-old has been with the club since 2019, having previously played for Aston Villa, Notts County and Yeovil Town. Megan has made more saves – 450 – than any other goalkeeper in the ten-year history of the WSL and has kept clean sheets in four of her last eight games to help Albion climb to seventh in the table. Megan said: “I’m delighted to sign this new contract and hopefully I can help the club go from strength to strength. The team spirit is fantastic, and I love working with the squad every day, especially the goalkeepers in our group.
