A British man has spoken of how he confronted a knifeman who killed two women in Finland on Friday. Hassan Zubier, a paramedic originally from Bexleyheath, London, was hailed a hero after being stabbed four times while facing down a Moroccan terrorist who went on a knife rampage in the southern Finnish city of Turku. Last night, speaking from his hospital bed, Zubier, 45, played down his bravery. He said: “I am not a hero, I just acted to save someone’s life. I’m a trained paramedic so I just reacted the way I have been trained to react.”Zubier, who lives near Stockholm in Sweden, was walking with his girlfriend when he saw the knifeman attacking a woman and rushed to help.
