According to Racing Post, Ireland has seen a 300-1 winner on two occasions: He Holds No Fear (Leopardstown, August 2020) and Sawbuck (Punchestown, May 2022). In the U.S., the record for the highest-paying winner in simulcast racing is held by Power to Geaux when he won at the Fair Grounds in 1989.
