The incident took place around 12pm during a dispute over land distribution, at Protapnagar village in the district’s Assasuni upazila, police told the Dhaka Tribune. The dialogue soon became heated between his elder son, Aminur Rahman, 45, and his younger son, Anwarul Islam, 30. At one point, Anwar took out a knife and made to stab Aminur. They also collected Anwar’s body to send it to Satkhira General Hospital for an autopsy, the inspector further added.
