Christ's College in Christchurch has vowed to handle complaints of sexual abuse better following revelations a teacher behaved inappropriately and police were not called. The Herald can reveal that between his offending in Perth and Adelaide he was employed as a music teacher at Christ's College. Coincidentally, before his role in Christchurch Wynne was the headmaster at the same school in Perth where Hutchinson offended. HUTCHINSON'S TIMELINE OF ABUSE• Hutchinson is convicted of sexually assaulting a boy in Durham, England in the 1970s. • For 18 months from 1985 to 1987 Hutchinson was employed as a music teacher at Christ's College in Christchurch.
