The Scott L. Probasco, Jr., Distinguished Chair of Free Enterprise at UTC, is hosting Steve Forbes, chairman and editor-in-chief of Forbes Media, to headline this year’s Burkett Miller Distinguished Lecture Series in partnership with the Young America's Foundation, and available seats are filling up quickly. The newly renovated Hayes Concert Hall has a maximum capacity of 505 seats, and with just over a week until Mr. Forbes’ visit, roughly two-thirds of the available seats have been claimed. The event host, Dr. Claudia Williamson Kramer, encourages community members interested in attending the event to be sure to RSVP for the free event as soon as possible. “We knew there would be a strong turnout for this lecture in particular, and though we’re excited to see that hunch be confirmed, we also want to be sure that all those who would like to hear Mr. Forbes speak are guaranteed a seat,” said Dr. Kramer.
