The celebration will take place on Saturday, June 1 and organisers are looking for people and organisations to get involved in the fun. The event this year will not take place in the Elizabethan Suite at the town hall like previous years, with the location set to be announced later this year. Last year, former X Factor contestant Sam Bailey performed as well as groups such as Bury Fire Choir. It is hoped that the event this year will be bigger and better than previous years.
