Central Depository Systems (Pvt) Ltd (CDS), a fully owned subsidiary of the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) has enabled e-IPO applications for the Initial Public Offering (IPO) of Chrissworld Ltd via the CSE Mobile application. CDS has introduced this new feature parallel to the Stock Market digitalization process and expansion of their service offerings. Commenting on the developments Mr. Nalin Fonseka – Head of CDS remarked “Chrissworld Ltd enters the Stock Market as the first Empower Board listing of the CSE. This IPO serves as a distinctive one, as it welcomes Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SMEs) to the Stock Market. The e-IPO applications solution would benefit the existing listed companies as well as new companies intending to enter the Stock Market.
