Book publisher CGP has revealed an exciting new vision for the Prince of Wales pub in Foxfield. The once thriving pub has been closed since the first Lockdown hit as a result of the Covid-19 Pandemic, in March 2020. After a failed refurbishment attempt, the Prince of Wales was acquired by CGP in 2023. The proposals outline CGP’s vision to reopen the pub as a traditional real ale venue, complete with hospitality and letting rooms for business travellers and visitors. If approval is granted, the Prince of Wales could soon regain its place at the heart of Foxfield life, blending its heritage as a historic pub with modern features designed to ensure long-term sustainability.
