CID's further probe report into Hadi killing case on Jan 29DHAKA, Jan 25, 2026 (BSS) - A court here today set January 29 for theCriminal Investigation Department (CID) to submit a report on its furtherinvestigation into the sensational murder of Inqilab Mancha spokespersonSharif Osman Hadi. Dhaka Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Jashita Islam passed the orderas the investigation agency failed to submit the report today. Inspector Foysal Ahmed of the DB submitted the charge-sheet on January 6against 17 accused, including alleged shooter Foysal Karim Masud and hisparents-- Humayun Kabir and Hashi Begum. According to the case statement, Foysal Karim Masud and Alamgir Hossainopened fire on Hadi while he was travelling in a battery-run auto-rickshaw onDecember 12 before fleeing the scene. Inqilab Mancha Member Secretary Abdullah Al Zaber filed the case with PaltanModel Police Station on December 14.
