CNN’s Chris Wallace to move to Friday primetime in latest move to boost network’s ratings

CNN is shifting Chris Wallace and his “best of” celebrity interview show to Friday nights at 10 p.m. — ending its Sunday night broadcasts in the cable network’s latest attempt to boost its sagging primetime ratings. CNN will air “Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace” on Friday nights instead of Sunday primetime, according to the network. “The $8+ million CNN is paying Chris Wallace can’t even be monetized given his miniscule ratings so more shuffling of the deck chairs is unlikely to have any impact,” a TV insider told The Post. “It’s one programming failure after another.”The cable news network has sought to shuffle its primetime lineup in a bid to juice ratings.
