Then with the attempted assassination on Trump, people are energized and it isn't for the Dems. Even if she were to come out and say she had to interest in being president, that looks terrible. Does Joe resign the presidency and let Kamala take over? If they go with a different nominee, what does that say about their current VP and their confidence in her? Does someone think they can take on Trump this late in the game and rally the support necessary to beat him?
